Everyone, Everything

And so begins the project of remastering recordings and creating new music while finishing the metaphysical suspense thriller, Her Immortal Menagerie. This song was written, copyrighted and released in 1986 as an instrumental when I signed with one of the hundreds of New Age record companies that went by the wayside, New World Productions out of Connecticut. I believe the only surviving member of that genre is Windham Hill Records and a handful of others.
A version with vocals had never been released and now that I’ve remastered it, I thought I’d start adding a few songs for your listening pleasure in the hopes that I may also reignite the fire that sparked a – once upon a time – career in music. Recorded with the same friend who accompanied me with The Eternal Now, here is Everyone, Everything.

Awesome! Those first couple of seconds made me think I was listening to a Pete Sinfield number (perhaps Hanging Fire, from the Still), but that was quickly dispelled as the music took me back to prime hippie territory and the ethos of post-flower power acts like Michael Cassidy and Golden Avatar. Love the vocals, especially … how the youthful 128 year old could sing!
Ha! Yes, at that time, I was younger… much younger… and spirited. Thank you for listening, Ian.
Wow I knew you were extremely talented but once again you have shown me there’s even more to you than I knew. Absolutely incredible!!!
You’re too kind. Stop. Don’t stop. Seriously, thank you, Kym.
