When a loved one dies, a piece of us dies with them leaving us feeling like we're alive after dying. Whether you identify as someone part of the LGBTQ demographic or straight, feelings are the same. I'm a gay man. Catholicism shamed me into feeling that I was not loved by the universe. Four mentors came into my life to help me understand my spiritual journey. I realized I couldn't help others until I could help myself.
